A little wild.
A lot of wonder.

Meet the artist

Hi, I’m Kyla.

I’m an acrylic landscape painter based in Fruitvale, British Columbia. My paintings begin with the places I adventure to and the views that make me stop for a moment.

Painting gives me room to loosen up, play with colour and see where a brushstroke takes me. I’m drawn to the character of trees, the changing light and the way a familiar place can still surprise me.

My paintings are an expression of gratitude for the land; and for life! I hope they offer a little reminder to slow down and savour the beauty around us.
